Solar We have solar panels on the roof which generate around 35 Mega Watts of electricity each year. We are installing additional 700 panels (July 2025) Food We monitor, track and activly try and reduce our food waste. This is something we have done since 2019 and set a target of 50% reduction 2020 - 2030. In 2025 we have achieved a 40% reduction so far. Water We have installed automatic water meter readers to help us understand our consumption on site. From this we have been able to identify and act on areas where water was being wasted Energy Tech We have installed a range of energy saving technology within our cellars and kitchens to reduce our consumption and carbon footprint Plastics We have removed single use plastic bottle from our bathrooms, in favour of larger refillable bottles. This has saved thousands of small bottles being thrown away after each guest visit Bottles We have introduced glass bottles in the rooms for water and milk, guests can fill at refill stations located around the hotel. This has removed plastic water bottles and milk cartons, again previoulsy thrown away after a guest visit Food Suppliers We work very closely with our suppliers to offer the highest quality sustainable products and wherever possible we source local products and services. We also buy British wherever possible. EV Chargers We have installed EV chargers at all of our hotels Fleet Our fleet across the buisness is 100% hybrid of electric Manager We have a dedicated Sustainability Manager Circuit level monitoring At the Aztec hotel we have circuit level monitoring across the site, this has helped us to map our the consumption of our site and identify energy saving opportunity Award We have achieved a silver ECOsmart award for sustainability
