Heritage Hall IV - H.A.W. Tabor

Horace Austin Warner Tabor, known as the “Silver King”, was Leadville’s first millionaire. His investments and endeavors helped both Leadville and Denver become business and financial centers. Tabor was a US Senator as well as Leadville’s first postmaster and mayor. He also created the scandal of the era by divorcing his wife to marry the young, Elizabeth “Baby Doe” McCourt. Tabor Room is one section of Heritage Hall at 510 sq. ft. accommodating Groups up to 25 people.
