Monkhouse Hill is located in Carlisle, England. Created from an imaginatively converted 17th century hill farm, the cottages stand around a courtyard set in five acres of paddock, lakes and woodland. It offers 3 meeting rooms that are ideal for small meetings and conferences. All of these are uniquely styled. Weddings at Monkhouse Hill offer a unique and memorable alternative to a conventional hotel based function. Spending a week or a weekend together in the Lake District lets you include a wide variety of activities, entertainment and dining, after which everyone returns home both refreshed and reinvigorated.

You’ll have the best seat in the house while cruising aboard the classic 42′ Grand Banks yacht, the Rainbird. The Rainbird is meticulously maintained and cared for, and shows it throughout.
The vessel offers comfort throughout with comfortable seating in the deck area, a fly bridge deck gives you a second floor viewing area for entertaining and taking in the incredible views of Seattle’s awesome sunsets, and a lounge below-deck to get out of the wind, if desired, with refrigerator, stove, oven and microwave. There are also two staterooms, each with its own ‘head’ and shower. The master stateroom has a center island queen bed with an office desk. The forward stateroom offers double twin-size beds in a v-berth layout. The Rainbird is centrally located, close to downtown Seattle, Lake Union, U of W, and Lake Washington.
