Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

Mystery Trip is a team bonding event planning company that creates unique experiences for our clients. The "mystery" is that none of your guests will know what they'll be doing until they experience it. We believe in the concept of "true fun" - where playfulness, connection, and flow merge - and build each of our events with this philosophy in mind in order to create a space for organic connection as guests have a shared visceral experience. We started LMS Brandz because we saw a need in the promotional product market for a better, more personalized experience for the customer. There are a lot of promo companies out there to choose from, but it’s not always about the cheapest price or the fastest turnaround time (although we pride ourselves in “making it happen” for the client). Under Julie’s leadership, the valued roles of her skilled team lay the foundation for adapting to her client’s corporate culture. This in turn with the intention to deliver a fun and engaging experience. Julie is a BCIT graduate and has been an active player in the hospitality industry since she was twenty-two. In 1981, Julie founded Everything Done Right Catering, a high-end catering business. During that time, Julie developed a line of dressings and sauces sold to large retail store chains in Canada and Mexico. In 1989, Julie was a recipient of the 40 Under 40 award. In 2006, Julie was inducted into the BC Chapter of Les Dames d’Escoffier. An invitational organization of women leaders in food and beverage whose mission is further education, scholarship, and philanthropy.
