The Library

The Library is a sophisticated and intimate venue fusing traditional touches with modern design details, with features including focal bookshelves, a statement handmade spherical chandelier and a fireplace, creating a unique backdrop for celebratory dinners, weddings and corporate events. Accommodating up to 40 guests in banquet format and 75 for receptions, The Library is located on the ground floor and measures 667 square feet (62.1 m²), and connects directly to The Chartwell Ballroom, the largest event space, and the hotel Foyer. The Library also holds a wedding licence. Drawing inspiration from Winston Churchill’s love of travel and adventure and giving a firm nod to his Nobel Prize in Literature, The Library walls are adorned with bookshelves lined with historic literature, while the luxurious deep green walls showcase a curated selection of photographs from the Churchill Heritage collection of Churchill enjoying his leisure time and travels.
