Scampston Hall is one of the finest regency country house stately homes in North Yorkshire, and contains many fine works of art, furniture and porcelain. But above all it is our family home and we are delighted to be able to share it with you when we open to the public during the summer, or as the perfect wedding venue for your big day. Scampston Hall holds a Civil Licence allowing weddings and civil partnership ceremonies to take place in any or all of our elegant reception rooms. The Drawing Room, Dining Room, and South Library all have beautiful views over the surrounding parkland, and full length windows allowing direct access to our glorious gardens. These beautiful reception rooms are the ideal size for ceremonies up to 100 guests. Receptions generally take place in our three main reception rooms and can accommodate up to 200 guests for champagne and canapés. Dinners and dances can be held in either our stylish Walled Garden Restaurant, which can seat up to 80 people for dinner, or for larger numbers our stunning marquee site can accommodate up to 500 guests.
