Albergo delle Notarie is situated right in the heart of Reggio Emilia, in the most ancient and historical part of the town, only 50 meters from Piazza del Duomo, Cathedral Square. The hotel offers very elegant furnishings in a very elegant but at the same time homey atmosphere, far from any standardization; it offers to its guests the opportunity to admire the extraordinary beauty of the historical sites and monuments that have made this city a true pearl of the Emilia-Romagna region. The hotel has got 51 rooms. With all the amenities to be expected of a four-star hotel, the rooms are furnished in a style that is simple yet refined and welcoming. Hotel facilities include the Matilde di Canossa congress room, which is available for congresses, conferences, meetings and banquets and can meet other guests’ needs in every moment. A smaller adjacent room can be used as a delegation room or for coffee breaks, refreshments, aperitifs, etc.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
