Chi siamo

Capolavoro dell'architettura militare rinascimentale, la Fiera di Firenze fu progettata da Antonio da Sangallo il Giovane e commissionata dal duca Alessandro de' Medici, e fu costruita tra il 1534 e il 1537. La Fiera di Firenze è sempre stata la sede principale del centro espositivo di Firenze dal 1967 ed è strategicamente situata nel centro storico della città. La Fiera di Firenze ha una superficie complessiva di quasi 100.000 mq, (1.076.000 piedi quadrati) di cui più della metà coperti, ed è un luogo ideale per mostre e congressi con un elevato numero di partecipanti, grazie alla possibilità di costruire una sala plenaria fino a 2.200 posti, nonché un luogo perfetto per ospitare ricevimenti ufficiali ed eventi di gala. Questo ambiente complesso e prestigioso combina luoghi storici affascinanti e perfettamente restaurati (come i Quartieri Monumentali o la Polveriera) con padiglioni moderni, come il Padiglione Spadolini, costruito su tre piani (aperto nel 1977) e il più recente Padiglione Cavaniglia (aperto nel 1996). Il restauro conservativo dell'intera area è stato realizzato in base alla destinazione dello spazio e alle esigenze di organizzatori di eventi, espositori e visitatori.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
