The bed and breakfast and Residence Villino il Leone is a lovely historic Villa to stay at the gates of the city historical center of Florence with free parking. The Villa is surrounded by a green, luxuriant garden only a few steps away from the Boboli Gardens. The Villino il Leone has four flats which have been finely refurbished and each one is furnished in a different style to make your stay unique and original and to satisfy all the needs of our clients. The venue can cater for meetings, weddings, celebrations, parties, birthdays, events and seminars.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
