Gelegen op de heuvels van Florence in een met de hand gerestaureerde villa uit de 15e eeuw met een adembenemend uitzicht over de stad en haar koepel, ligt Il Salviatino midden in het groen van een majestueus privépark van 5 hectare. De met bomen omzoomde weg die kronkelig naar de villa leidt, voert je terug naar de tijd dat de grote meesters Salvador Dalì en Gabriele D'Annunzio Il Salviatino animeerden met hun literaire salons. Tot de faciliteiten behoren: 39 tweepersoonskamers en suites, restaurants en bars, een wellnesscentrum, een zwembad, een fitnessruimte en een biologische tuin, terwijl de locaties variëren van de historische bibliotheek, het zwembad, de unieke Italiaanse tuinen en een terras met uitzicht op de stad Florence. Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
