The Royal Hotel in Forfar will ensure the warmest of welcomes to guests visiting this historic and beautiful town. Each of the 21 en-suite rooms is individually designed to a high standard with all the charm and character you would expect for an inn built in the 1700’s. The Royal Burgh of Forfar stands on what was once the centre of the Kingdom of the Picts - the region's first settlers. Puzzling reminders of the area's earliest inhabitants spring up around the fertile Strathmore valley in which Forfar proudly sits, with mysterious shapes carved deep into solitary stones scattered throughout the land. For the more spirited, you will enjoy the complimentary use of our leisure facilities which include a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and fully equipped gymnasium.
