Golden autumnal colours, summer heat, spring flowers, soft winter snow. This is your holiday for all seasons in Alta Badia. This is the holiday we have designed for you at the Hotel La Majun. Whatever the season, enjoy it in a boutique hotel, swathed in wellbeing in a stylish hotel atmosphere. Our hotel is in Alta Val Badia. Nature, the landscapes and the mountains are a real treasure here. And we’re not alone in saying this; in 2010 UNESCO declared the Dolomites a World Heritage Site. The Alta Val Badia lies amidst the Ladin Dolomites of Alto Adige and has everything that our “active” guests could want: the ski slopes of Badia and the Dolomiti Ski Pass area for skiers and snowboarders, footpaths and via ferrata for hikers.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
