The plaza serves as an interactive play area for kids and adults of all ages, featuring a pool table, ping-pong tables, and corn hole. Popular ride-sharing firm Uber offers specific pick-up and drop-off locations for late night and early morning customers in the Midtown area in order to reduce traffic and noise for nearby residents. Customers can connect with their rides on Elm Street, next to Midtown Plaza, directly behind the big video screen. This location will be used between 9 p.m. and 4 a.m.

The diamond portion of the campus includes 26 baseball/softball diamonds, eight of which are synthetic turf and all are lit.
