Chengeta is located in Chegutu. Situated at the foot of a granite kopje amidst indigenous trees and a tropical landscaped garden with wildlife roaming through the gardens, guests can enjoy a memorable and restful stay with us. The lodge has a two-tiered thatched dining room overlooking the gardens and two swimming pools, and a pool bar that is open from 9am until dinner finishes. Thereafter, most guests retire to the trophy lounge area and main bar. Chengeta has 16 rooms in total; 7 double-bedded and 9 twin-bedded, all of which are en suite. Our stylish conference area seats up to 70 people using only the stone and thatched area, or up to 300 using the marquee. This area is conveniently located at the edge of our naturally landscaped gardens, and merges seamlessly with the wild bush surrounding it. It comes fully equipped with tables and chairs for up to 200 people, although we can hire in additional seating if required. Pamuzinda’s thatched conference area seats up to 30 people comfortably in a similar setting to that of Chengeta, or, if a conference group books the whole lodge, the conference can take place on the stunning river verandah. The venue can cater for meetings, weddings, celebrations, parties, birthdays, events and seminars.
