Astra Hotel offers guests utmost kindness and hospitality. Its modern spaces are able to suit even the most demanding requirements of those looking for utmost comfort and functionality. We strive to offer guests competitive prices and high-quality services and facilities in order to gain their confidence and loyalty. The hotel is situated just in the heart of Ferrara. It has 69 bedrooms which are all provided with high-quality services and facilities. Astra Hotel is provided with a well-equipped congress area for those looking for practical, professional solutions to arrange business meetings and congresses. Our meeting rooms offer business travellers utmost comfort and give them the possibility to arrange any type of meeting, conference and convention. There are large rooms which can host 30 to 160 people and can also be arranged like stalls, two suites for smaller groups, two rooms for informal meetings and state-of-the-art equipment and technologies. The bar is able to suit even guests’ most demanding requirements, since it offers them coffee breaks, appetizers, cocktail parties and many more.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
