ESSENTIALLY SIERRA NEVADA: A legend coming from the times of the Arab domination of Spain inspired the name of this most impressive establishment, the Vincci Selection Rumaykiyya, a unique hotel belonging to the Vincci Seleccion Hotel range. This five-star hotel is located at 2,400 metres in the heart of the Sierra Nevada, one of the most beautiful natural parks in Spain which is crowned by 14 peaks that surpass 3,000 metres, among them Veleta (3,327) and Mulhacen (3,478), next to the route of the Alpujarra Mountains and very near the impressive city of Granada, all of which makes the area a refuge for the traveller. PARADISE FOR SKIERS: The Vincci Seleccion Rumaykiyya Hotel lies at the foot of a ski slope, offering the visitor the possibility of practicing various recreational and athletic activities during the ski season when the hotel fills with athletes who know how to appreciate the special characteristics that make the Vincci Seleccion Rumaykiyya a privileged enclave for practicing this sport. This establishment is the highest hotel in Europe with direct access to the Arco de las Pesas and Puerta Fajalauza ski slopes to and from the hotel, which puts a chair lift service at its very door and also has its own shuttle service to Pradollano. VINCCI CARE VINCCI CARE encompasses all the measures that the hotel chain had already developed and implemented from the beginning relating to hygiene, sustainability, social commitment, technology and guest well-being; and all those that are now being implemented to respond to the current situation, with the aim of providing maximum trustworthiness. We are working on an internal action plan for the entire chain, which strengthens the high standards of hygiene and quality that we already had in place. A plan in which standards are raised even further by creating demanding protocols that enable guests and employees to be cared for, meeting the new challenges in these areas.
