Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era. Liberated from the confines of a single location, Covert Cocktail Club now brings the speakeasy right to your door—be it at your home, office, bar mitzvah, dinner party, bachelor/ette party or anywhere you choose!

The Brooklyn Comedy Collective is a comedy theater and school in Brooklyn with a mission to produce irreverent, fearless shows from a wide range of voices and inspire students to approach performance from a place of joy and fierceness. From year-round comedy classes to workshops for businesses large and small to improv festivals and live comedy produced Tues-Sundays nights in East Williamsburg, we celebrate anyone who wants to let their freak flag fly. We offer a wide array of classes in improv, sketch, and stand-up and more - available year-round at our fabulous training centers in North Brooklyn - The Dog House (137 Montrose Ave, Brooklyn) & The Pig Pen (144 Boerum St, Brooklyn). Casa Carmen is the new venture of a Mexican family led by renowned chef Carmen “Titita” Ramirez Degollado and her grandsons Sebastian and Santiago. The Mexican restaurant is an homage to their passion for traditional Mexican food, heritage ingredients, and dining customs. The space evokes the feeling of being in a subdued, earth-toned hacienda with high ceilings and a cozy ambiance. “Queremos que te sientas como en CASA ” We want to share with the world the traditional Mexican recipes from regions such as Veracruz, Puebla and Oaxaca, such as mole, guacamole and different kind of tacos. Tom’s mix of acoustic guitar and his raspy vocals have captured significant press attention since his move to the States, with Rolling Stone Magazine saying his “gritty vocals echo Rod Stewart”, and the socialite Hamptons Magazine calling his music “Perfect for a summer’s evening”, when they profiled him on his move over to the States. His recent client list includes such luxury brands as Christian Dior, Louis Vuitton, Manolo Blahnik and Vogue Magazine, as well as events for fashion mogul Donna Karan. Tom has been a live music favourite across the Hamptons for the last six years, becoming a summer staple at such hotspots as Wölffer Estate, Gurney’s Montauk and Bounce Beach to name a few.
