Karakuri Lake is 3,600 meters above sea level, 30 meters deep and has a surface of ten square kilometers. The name Karakuri (“black lake”in Kirgiz language) stems from its depth and darkness. The lake is located at the foot of Mount Muztagata, which stands 7,509m above sea level and is a favorite site for climbing. Karakuri Lake is 190 kilometers from the hotel.

Abakh Khoja Tomb is an ancient Islamic architectural complex and Islamic holy tomb, covering some 4.8 hectares (72 acres). Legend says that Iparhan, a descendant of Abakh Khoja, was concubine to the Emperor Qianlong, she exuded a naturally enchanting fragrance. Given this, the people named Xiang Fei (“fragrant concubine”in Chinese), leading the tomb to be better known as the tomb of Xiang Fei. The tomb is 15 km from the hotel.
