The Met Space, featuring built-in AV, suits meetings, receptions, and dinners, seating 20 in boardroom style. Smaller gatherings can be hosted in the Met Boardroom (14 guests), Met Lounge (10 guests), or Met Studio for intimate meetings or receptions. Has your hotel taken steps to reduce single-use plastics, such as removing plastic straws (except upon request for guests with disabilities), stirrers and cotton buds? If yes, please provide detail as to the steps you have taken to reduce single use plastics?
we have been working on our reducing single use plastic for 2 years now as part of our EarthCheck certification. No more plastic straws, no more plastic bag to send laundry away (but clothes), laundry coming back on reusable sleeves, no ore plastic bottles water, limited laminated sheets, no amenities miniatures, no plastic bags for take away but paper bags, no more plastic cutlery but biodegrable one, delivery on plastic cranes given back to suppliers.
