Forever Green is based in Ransom Wood on the edge of Sherwood Forest near Mansfield, 15 minutes from junction 28 of the M1 and within easy reach of Nottingham, Newark, Chesterfield and their surrounding areas. It is an award winning restaurant, wedding and conference venue set amongst a tree lined panorama of 70 acres of woodland on the edge of Mansfield. Whether you are looking for a place to come and have a relaxed chat over a specialty coffee, want to pop in for a tasty meal or need a place to hold a special event or conference, Forever Green’s warm welcome is here for you. Forever Green is a unique venue to put on an event – from a regular business meeting for a couple of colleagues or a training session to a full scale conference, exhibition or product launch. We have 4 rooms for you to choose from, all of which have stunning views into the forest. They are designed to a very high standard with lots of attention to detail on elements such as the colour schemes, furniture and lighting meaning that your stay with us will be a comfortable and enjoyable one.

The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”. A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.
