This historic Georgian hotel is set in two acres of Derbyshire hillside, and the majority of rooms have beautiful views over the Derwent Valley, providing a peaceful environment in which to relax and unwind. The Byron Room, so called because this is the room where Lord Byron dined when he etched the famous 'unfinished' poem on a pane of window glass, is used as a private dining room for smaller parties and celebrations. The hotel offers 14 guest rooms for the visitors.

First tour departs at 11:00 am during the week, and 10:00 am during the weekend and holidays. Last tour depends on the sunset, which varies by season.
