Wherein La Bottega Trattoria offers a beautiful italian setting, complete with a wood burning pizza oven in one corner and glass doors opening onto an expansive outdoor garden on the other. In the summertime, the Trattoria serves as busy center of activity for the heavy foot traffic of the meat-packing district. Everyone from families to models to musicians lounge on the striking plaza and enjoy the fine cuisine. Throughout the winter time, there is a full greenhouse enclosure, offering a cozy and peaceful shelter from the elements. Attached to La Bottega Trattoria and Cafe is the beautiful plaza. This urban oasis is the central core of the building with its flowering trees, terrazzo floor, Japanese paper lanterns and blue and white motif echoed even in the seating. The lure of this space is unavoidable with all of the hotel’s rooms and most of the public spaces facing directly onto the garden.
