In 1992, New York Offstage began, when founder, Bev Sambrotto, left her role as Assistant Director of Visitor Services at Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts. Her tenure at Lincoln Center gave her invaluable experience as a producer of refined cultural events. This experience included talent recruitment and coordination with world-class talent from Lincoln Center’s companies, cutting edge event planning and production for Fortune 500 corporations, and creative, interactive program content for patrons, and international travel and luxury group clients. New York Offstage flourished as the industry leader in these immersive, behind-the-scenes experiences showcasing New York’s cultural world. As the company grew it was evident that its services and business model could be copied in other leading cultural destinations and in 2007 the brand was renamed The Offstage Group. Until 2012 The Offstage Group served groups of all sizes. The company had weathered several economic downturns and as a safeguard changed its business model to include memorable experiences for individual travelers. Your VIP Pass was born!

Our classic Sushi By Bou experience includes a timed chef’s choice 12-piece omakase. For extra time at the chef’s counter, and additional pieces, upgrade to our Bougie option. Come early, and stay late, to enjoy our craft cocktails, imported sake selection, and high-energy vibes.

Wine & Canvas is a mobile painting studio that comes to you! Great for team building events, birthdays, family get togethers, bachelorettes and more. We provide all the art supplies. If you don't have a venue, we can suggest our partner restaurants. Great for groups from 8-100. We have a variety of painting projects available or you can pick our standard step-by-step acrylic canvas painting. Food and beverages are not included but available for purchase with the hosting venue.

Our 12,000 square foot shop paired with our experienced crew allows us the opportunity to expertly execute a myriad of unique designs and projects. Our clients can rely on us to provide custom designs for any venture, from studio photography sets, events, retail and showroom displays, trade show booths, video and film scenery, gallery builds, pop-up locations and runways. Originating from ReadySet Inc. in New York City, an industry leader since 1997, we embody the passion and commitment necessary to meet our client's unique needs. We relish the opportunity to exceed our client's expectations and our team finds challenges rewarding. Our diverse crew offers a wide range of skills and they are always open to working with new ideas, materials or methods to further our skill set and deliver. With an emphasis on pre-building and finishing sets, our team is able to troubleshoot any issues that may arise ahead of time, saving valuable time during delivery. We provide 3D production drawings to our clients to confirm every detail and also provide samples of finishes needed. As the project develops, we provide constant communication with clients to ensure the project encapsulates their vision. Our clients are encouraged to inspect their jobs in our shop to get a hands on feel of the scale and specific scenic elements.
