Qingdao Haidu Hotel has two architectures: the first-stage and the second-stage. The first-stage building was opened in July, 1997, which was the first four-star tourism and foreign-related hotel of Qingdao Economic, Technological and Development Zone. The hotel is located in the CBD of Qingdao Economic, Technological and Development Zone, by the side of Government and Committee Building and adjacent to Golden Sand Beach, Silver Sand Beach, Tangdao Bay, Binhai Park and Oceanic Carnival. At the early of July, 2011, Jiaozhou Bay Under-sea Tunnel and Trans-Oceanic Bridge bring the Haidu Hotel into the Qingdao CBD. The second stage of Haidu Hotel has been completed. After the completion of the second stage, the amount of space will be 47,000 square meters and there will be more than 750 guest rooms. Meanwhile, there are different types of restaurants, functional conference rooms and conveniently underground parking place. The Hotel will have 72,000 square meters and 35 floors after the expansion, including the first-stage and the second-stage, which can host thousands of people for conferences. Haidu Hotel will welcome guests from home and abroad with deluxe decoration and high quality service.
