Le sol de la salle de prière de la mosquée est surmonté d'un tapis persan d'une seule pièce composé de 1 700 millions de nœuds dont la fabrication a duré environ 27 mois, couvrant une superficie de 4 200 mètres carrés et pesant 21 tonnes. 28 couleurs différentes faites de colorants végétaux ou naturels, de différents degrés, sont utilisées dans le tissage de ce tapis.
