Against all odds, we have opened up our newest restaurant, Serafina, This little gem of a restaurant, perched on top of Nob Hill, has truly been a labor of love, as we were set to open at the end of February, and then had to do so during the ensuing pandemic....We are so excited about Serafina, which has been a concept in the making for many years for us. Serafina was Maurizio’s grandmother, and the name of her eponymous restaurant in the heart of Trastevere (Rome), where Maurizio first began making pizzas at the age of 14. She was a tough woman and wonderful chef.. an inspiration for his love of cooking then, and inspiration of how he is determined to persevere despite the difficult circumstances of today. We hope to create a warm, elegant space where neighbors and friends can come together. We have an amazing team with our partner Giuseppe Terminiello, the co-owner of Piccolo Forno with us (we also own Ideale, in North Beach as well), and Umberto Cannarsa, an accomplished and incredibly talented chef from Rome, who had his own successful restaurants there.

With close proximity to Sacramento, The Murieta Inn and Spa is set to be the ideal destination for executive retreats, corporate meetings and successful incentive programs. Offering a variety of flexible meeting space – with the ability to accommodate large groups, breakout rooms, and boardrooms – our team can adapt the available space to meet the needs of small groups and larger groups of up to 250 attendees. Additionally, groups will have access to our state-of-the-art technologies as well as a dedicated event coordinator to ensure every event and meeting is a great success. Located just 35 miles southeast of the Sacramento International Airport (SMF) and mere minutes from the Rancho Murieta Airport, your meeting guests will have the ability to easily escape to a beautiful Northern California retreat.

With 83 beautifully appointed rooms and suites influenced by the classic Spanish Hacienda style and equestrian décor, accommodations distinctively set Murieta Inn apart. Modern curated amenities include a wet-bar, microwave, mini-fridge, and ample storage for snacks and groceries. Mornings are best with coffee, all rooms and suites feature Keurig coffee/tea maker and complimentary coffee, cups and condiments. All replenished daily. For comfort and convenience, bedside power chargers, SMART 50 inch televisions, full cable package including pay per view movies, and complimentary WIFI. Premium rooms feature balconies and pool views. ADA accessible rooms include optional roll-in shower or tub, grab bars, and additional accessibility enhancements. Indulge in luxury in your room. Baths offer over-sized bathrooms with a large glass and tile walk-in rain shower that produce a massaging spray that that soothes the body. Exclusive in room bath amenities are from onsite spa, The Cupola. Added touches such as lighted make up mirrors, sewing kits, and lighted vanity mirror.
