We’re Your Partners on Purpose When you plan a meeting in the Richmond Region, you’re not just choosing a destination. You’re choosing a partner. We’re here to support you with intention, follow through with care, and show up as an extension of your team. That’s what it means to be your Partners on Purpose. Named one of the “Top 50 Cities Worth Exploring” (MSN) and a “Top 25 Convention City” (MeetingSource), the Richmond Region offers more than great venues. It offers the kind of experience your attendees will remember and the kind of support you can count on. Planner-First Support We know how much goes into planning. The coordination, the deadlines, the pressure to get every detail right. That’s why we lead with responsiveness, flexibility, and genuine support. From the first outreach to the final wrap-up, we keep the process smooth and the communication clear. When plans shift, we stay steady. You can trust us to show up, follow through, and help you feel confident at every stage. Regional Accessibility Located in the heart of the mid-Atlantic, the Richmond Region is easy to reach and easy to work with. With more than 150 daily flights, three Amtrak stations, and direct access to major highways, we’re a natural hub for attendees coming from across the East Coast and beyond. But access here is more than just geography. Our seven localities work as one to make planning seamless and connected from start to finish. Human-Centered Collaboration Behind every meeting is a person with real goals, expectations, and challenges. We see that, and we respond with empathy, intention, and care. We bring our full selves to the table so you never feel like just another program on the calendar. We listen closely, ask the right questions, and stay present throughout. With us, you’ll always know who you’re working with and what we’re bringing to the partnership. Strategic Follow-Through Once the contract is signed, we stay with you. Whether you’re refining your agenda, curating experiences around the region, or making sure every technical detail is covered, we’re there to help it all come together. We understand the stakes and we take them seriously. That means thinking ahead, staying organized, and making sure the outcome reflects the effort you’ve put in. Beyond the meeting room, your attendees will discover a region rich with possibility. From award-winning dining and riverfront trails to a thriving arts community and a deep, powerful history, Richmond offers more than moments. It offers meaning. This is more than a destination. This is a partnership rooted in purpose. And we’re ready when you are.

Black History Museum and Cultural Center of Virginia
Musée
The Black History Museum & Cultural Center of Virginia celebrates the rich culture and moving histories of African American people in Virginia and their contributions to our magnificent country. Their mission is to preserve stories that inspire. For many, Black history is reduced to a handful of moments and events, and popular stories of Harriet Tubman, Rosa Parks, and Martin Luther King, but there are many, many more. Although Virginia’s past is sometimes painful, we can learn from our ancestors and allow that history to fuel our future.

T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge
T. Tyler Potterfield Memorial Bridge
Parc
The “T. Pott Bridge” sits atop the remnants of a former hydroelectric dam. This wheelchair, pedestrian and bike-friendly span links Brown’s Island to the north and Manchester to the south, and offers spectacular views of the power of the James River. Named for T. Tyler Potterfield, a senior planner for the City of Richmond and a staunch advocate for linking the city to our green spaces, the bridge opened in 2016. Access is provided from both sides of the river: Brown’s Island on the north and from Semmes Ave. on the south. To reach the bridge from the south side of the river the approach is behind the SunTrust complex on Semmes Avenue. There is a short bridge above train tracks, with views of the Manchester Climbing Wall, from which you can follow a sidewalk to the bridge. Near the end of the 1,600-foot-long bridge, near Brown’s Island, you’ll reach an installation titled “Three Days in April 1865.” It recounts how the former Capital of the Confederate States of America fell and many of its people fled while fire consumed the city.

Farmers Restaurant Group
Farmers Restaurant Group
multi-city
When the members of North Dakota Farmers Union (NDFU) began talking about the future, they sought to provide a restaurant brand where consumers would benefit from a direct link to the source of foods cultivated on American family farms. And Farmers Restaurant Group was born. As we watch much of the restaurant industry cut labor costs and offer foods with additives to extend shelf life, we’re doing the opposite. We continually look for opportunities to add value to all our ingredients. We source pure ingredients in order to cook, mix, and bake our food and beverage items from scratch, in-house, every day, all while honoring American family farmers and their hard-earned bounty.
