Named for the river forever in its gaze, The Cooper is the only luxury waterfront hotel in the vibrant heart of the Charleston peninsula. Opening in Spring 2026, the harborside hotel will embody a laid back sophistication and coastal lifestyle, with residential-style guest rooms and suites inspired by the area’s winding coastal waterways; an on-site marina with fleet of luxury cruising vessels, including a custom Hinckley yacht; four distinct food & beverage venues, ranging from a casual burger joint to a sophisticated Mediterranean restaurant; a 7,000 square-foot wellness spa with seven treatment rooms; a waterfront infinity pool with panoramic views of the Charleston Harbor and the downtown skyline; 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor event space; exclusive retail shops; and a grand lawn that connects guests and locals to Joe Riley Waterfront Park.
