Burghotel Staufenberg, In the middle of Hesse near the major cities of Giessen, Marburg and Wetzlar, "Staufenberg Castle" has stood since the 13th century atop the "Burgberg", the castle mountain, towering high above the town of Staufenberg. The imposing castle can be seen from miles away, looming over the beautiful landscape. Today, it is still the preferred residence for guests that value an elegant atmosphere with a historical background. The "Rittersaal", the knights' banqueting hall, is a perfect setting for stylish weddings and celebrations with a standing reception or snacks served in the shade of the castle garden's ancient trees.
