Hotel Ristorante Carnia was inaugurated in July 1979. The most important reconstruction meetings were held in the restaurant. Among the most memorable is that of President Pertini, who stopped in 1983 when he came to Friuli to visit the earthquake-stricken areas until Napolitano's recent visit (May 2012). A hotel "son of the earthquake", but above all a symbol of rebirth, which twenty years later has been completely renovated. Their rooms for leisure or business trips are equipped with every comfort and designed to meet every need.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels.
When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. This new way of discovering a city via a walking tour with various challenges is a great way to learn about its history and discover its layout.
Simple And Fun
Each Tourist Scavenger Hunt is around 40 steps, 2-3 hours in duration on a 3-4km circuit which brings you back to the start.
