Located on the edge of the Ingendael nature reserve that borders the River Geul, and just a short drive from Maastricht city centre, the magnificent country estate, formerly a monastery and farmhouse, has been sensitively restored to provide an exceptional, luxury hotel experience. A stylish venue, it offers 114 guestrooms, suites and residences, two restaaurants and the St. Gerlach Pavilion & Manor Farm. An intimate space designed to relieve the pressures of everyday life, Spa & Wellness St. Gerlach, built under the arches of Château St. Gerlach ancient cellar, is an atmospheric area that lends itself to relaxation and reflection. Château St. Gerlach is a member of Relais & Châteaux. The extensive facilities lend themselves to a wide array of celebrations, from formal meetings and conferences to milestone events and celebrations. As a licensed marriage venue, weddings can be held in a variety of settings, from the romantic rose garden to the 18th century, frescoed St. Gerlachus Church. Additional details
Château St. Gerlach has been the host of many famous guests. In 2005, the American presidential couple George W. and Laura Bush stayed at the exclusive estate. And, later on, so did Bruce Springsteen, Robbie Williams, and the Rolling Stones! Toon Hermans, one of the most famous Dutch comedians of all times, also loved to be at St. Gerlach.
