Fjellro Turisthotell AS is one of the protected original buildings in the old street “Syltegata”, which give the street its charm and character. Proud Sylte Mountain rises directly from the bottom of the garden creating a special atmosphere both of dramatics and calm. It is surrounded by greenery. The garden is spacious with a five step waterfall at its centre. All rooms are pleasantly decorated with a personal touch. Most are double and single, but we also have a number of family rooms with four beds. On the first floor we have a restaurant suitable for group lunches, dinners, private parties, weddings, christenings etc. Our facility on the first floor is ideal, exclusively decorated and with table sitting for up to 95 guests.

Once upon a time in 2016, Matt Levy, founder of Covert Cocktail Club, hosted a secret speakeasy as an intimate place for strangers to gather in his home. The only way to find out about it was via word of mouth. No address was given, the only clue being a sign placed in the window, “Cocktails Here”.
A lot of people thought it was pretty cool, even before The New York Times wrote about it. But that was all pre-pandemic, and this is a new era.

Since its debut at the Imperial Palace on May 5, 1983, the show has earned entertainment industry awards for “Show of the Year,” “Entertainers of the Year,” “Grand Slam” and the prestigious “Show of Shows” awarded by the International Press Association.
