A friendly inn, just a few steps from the shore of Riva delle Zattere and from the Academy, the hotel Palazzo Guardi is in the Old Town of Venice, in a beautiful residence of the fifteenth century, run by a friendly staff who are completely at your disposal. Palazzo Guardi is a small, comfortable hotel surrounded by a typical Venetian atmosphere, as in the nearby boatyard of San Trovaso, one of the most authentic and charming areas of Venice, as easy to reach as Piazza San Marco and the Rialto. The Palazzo Guardi rooms are furnished in Venetian style: the walls have damasked coverings, some entirely decorated with reproductions of Guardi's and Canaletto's works, lacquered furniture in XVI century design and in the delicate colors in fashion in the Most Serene Republic of Venice.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
