ABOUT THE NATIONAL PRESS CLUB For more than 100 years, the National Press Club has been Washington’s home to the world’s most influential movers and shakers in media, politics, business, sports and entertainment. There is simply no place like it in Washington, where guests can not only walk through a century of history, but also witness history in the making every day as the latest big news and business events are happening around you in real time. THE PLACE WHERE NEWS HAPPENS Since 1908, The National Press Club has hosted U.S. presidents, kings, queens, prime ministers, cabinet members, governors, members of Congress and influential leaders in business, entertainment, sport and society to share their views on significant topics and current events with the media and the public. The Club hosts an average of 2,500 events annually attended by more than 250,000 guests and beamed to a global audience through the latest print, broadcast, online and social media technologies. DC'S PREMIER VENUE FOR BUSINESS, NEWS & SOCIAL EVENTS In addition to public events held for the press, The National Press Club also serves as one of the nation’s leading business and conference centers services (you don’t have to be a Member to host an event here!). Providing state-of-the-art, turnkey event services in an elegant and historic setting, the NPC offers a variety of rooms and spaces to accommodate virtually any sized event. Combined with our in-house, full-service catering, banquet and audio-visual teams, The National Press Club can help you plan and execute your event from start to finish.
