Rising 108 floors above the cosmopolitan streets of the Tianhe District, Rosewood Guangzhou’s occupies an ideal location in the heart of the business district. The property occupies the top 16 floors and podium of the newly opened CTF Finance Centre – Guangzhou’s tallest building at 530 meters – and is within easy walking distance of prominent commercial centres as well as enriching cultural and architectural landmarks. Rosewood Guangzhou sets a tone of sophistication and ambition with a striking facade designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox Associates. The vertical residence incorporates several outdoor terraces, bringing a sense of calm and nature into the hotel. Inside, guests will find the fastest elevators in the world, whisking travellers through the property at 20 meters per second. While decidedly modern, Toronto-based design firm Yabu Pushelberg pays homage to the past with Chinese artwork, architectural accents and local textiles in refreshing contemporary contexts.
