En octobre 2014, le magazine Northwest Meetings + Events a annoncé le Ted Ferry Civic Center en tant que « Meilleur lieu de convention/conférence en Alaska. » Les finalistes étaient le Dena'ina Civic & Convention Center et l'hôtel Captain Cook. La section de l'Alaska de l'American Institute of Architects a décerné au Ted Ferry Civic Center le PRIX DU MÉRITE pour l'excellence en architecture en 1994. Si l'événement est reporté, les frais peuvent être réduits à 50 %. Le gestionnaire est habilité à annuler les frais d'annulation en cas de circonstances atténuantes.

La salle de bal contemporaine du Ted Ferry Civic Center s'étend sur 4 500 pieds carrés avec de hauts plafonds, des lucarnes, des fenêtres distinctives et une architecture primée.
