L'Hotel Turist a été créé en 1964 sur le modèle des anciens « Grands Hôtels » de Varaždin. Il compte 104 chambres confortables et 174 lits au total. Les chambres ont été classées dans les catégories supérieure et standard, toutes dotées de nombreux équipements. L'hôtel Turist est bien connu en tant que centre de conférence de la Croatie continentale.
