Le Mas Del Joncar est situé dans la région de l'Alt Empordà, dans le village de Sant Pere Pescador, dans le Baix Fluvià. Le village se trouve à environ 300 m et il est possible de s'y rendre à pied. À environ un kilomètre, nous avons l'embouchure de la rivière Fluvià d'une grande valeur écologique et la plage qui s'étend sur 6 km de dunes de sable. C'est l'une des rares plages préservées de la Costa Brava.
