La gare centrale d'Anvers, également connue sous le nom de Middenstatie (gare intermédiaire) ou Spoorwegkathedraal (cathédrale du chemin de fer), a été utilisée pour la première fois en 1905. La structure est composée d'un revêtement de plate-forme en acier et d'un bâtiment de gare en pierre de style éclectique. Récemment, la gare a été entièrement rénovée et, en 2007, un tunnel sous la gare et une partie d'Anvers a été ouvert, redonnant à la gare son statut de terminus où tous les trains doivent faire demi-tour. En 2009, le magazine américain Newsweek a désigné la gare centrale d'Anvers comme la quatrième plus belle gare du monde.

La visite commence dans les plantations de cacao de l'équateur et suit la fève de cacao jusqu'au plus grand port de stockage de cacao du monde, à Anvers. Une gigantesque machine fantastique montre comment le chocolat est fabriqué et d'où provient son goût velouté. Au cours de votre visite du musée, vous découvrirez les traditions, l'histoire, les marques, les produits et les innovations qui ont forgé sa réputation mondiale.
