Castello Di Petrata is located in Assisi, Italy. Its position of dominance in the surrounding countryside, allows it an wide panoramic view of Assisi and the Umbrian valley. Thoroughly renovated and elegantly furnished, Petrata castle is surrounded by a park of 20 hectares, in which secret romantic corners nestle among the orchards, woods, olive groves and green meadows. The castle offers 2 suites, 5 Junior Suites and 16 Standard Rooms, with beams, wooden trusses and bare stone walls, each one uniquely decorated with period furniture and precious fabrics. From every room you can throw open the window onto the open countryside, feel the freshness of the morning dew and hear the birds chirping. Also The location is particularly suitable for the organization of special occasions such as weddings, themed dinners, anniversaries and other special events.

We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
