The Giotto Hotel is situated in the center of the delightful, old city of Assisi, only 200 metres from the Basilica of St. Francis. Once a noble residence, since 1899 it has been ‘Hotel Giotto’. It now has 83 rooms and provides every kind of comfort and services. The Giotto Hotel is well equipped to give a wide range of facilities to its guests and is committed to satisfying even the most demanding requests. From its splendid position overlooking the Umbrian valley, for over a century, it has been a preferred destination for even the most exacting of travelers searching for art, elegance and a great tradition. The beautiful rooms, the panoramic terraces, the great cuisine, the refined service make the Giotto Hotel an ideal setting for ceremonies and gala occasions of the highest level. "Archi" Room, "Pentecoste" Room and Panoramic Terraces are specially decorated for weddings and receptions. Hotel has 2 convention rooms for hosting meetings, conferences and seminars.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
