Le nouvel hôtel Melia Ria est situé dans un complexe résidentiel de qualité supérieure dans le centre d'Aveiro, avec vue sur le lac formé par la rivière Ria de Aveiro. Il est situé à côté du centre culturel et des congrès et de la gare, à une courte distance du cœur historique de la ville, à 7 km des plages et à 60 minutes de l'aéroport de Porto, avec un accès facile aux autoroutes A1, IP5 et IC1. L'hôtel compte 128 chambres réparties sur 5 étages, dont 2 suites junior avec canapé-lit, des chambres communicantes, des chambres non-fumeurs et des chambres pour personnes à mobilité réduite. Il propose également 10 salles de réunion et de banquet pouvant accueillir jusqu'à 250 personnes.
