𝗚𝗗𝗦 𝗦𝗨𝗦𝗧𝗔𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗕𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗬 𝗜𝗡𝗗𝗘𝗫 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 Collaborative efforts of Belfast’s tourism and events industry to become more sustainable has helped the city secure the position of 8th in the world in the 2022 Global Destinations Sustainability Index. (GDS-Index) 𝗚𝗗𝗦 𝗠𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 Visit Belfast took home an Innovation Award for its pioneering social impact initiative Changing the Menu. For Good. As a founding partner, ICC Belfast supports this initiative by directly raising funds and supplies for local food banks and charities. 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗗𝗘𝗦𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 Securing Best Conference Destination at the highly influential Conference & Incentive Travel (C&IT) Awards in London for a second year in a row, Belfast sidestepped the global competition yet again as an ambitious destination that continues to exceed industry expectations. 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗘𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗨𝗘 𝗢𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝟭𝟭𝟬𝟬 𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗘 𝗦𝗧𝗬𝗟𝗘 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 After receiving bronze in 2019 and 2021, ICC Belfast took home the top prize in the 2022 Conference and Events Awards, in addition to being shortlisted for a Sustainability Award. These awards focus on what sets venues apart from the competition in terms of technology, client experience and delegate satisfaction. 𝗕𝗘𝗦𝗧 𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗨𝗘 𝗢𝗙𝗙𝗘𝗥𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗗𝗜𝗚𝗜𝗧𝗔𝗟/𝗛𝗬𝗕𝗥𝗜𝗗 𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗡𝗧 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗜𝗟𝗜𝗧𝗜𝗘𝗦 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟭 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟮 ICC Belfast was awarded Best Venue offering Digital/Hybrid Event Facilities in 2021 and 2022. The Digital Event Awards recognise excellence in the production and delivery of digital events. 𝗔𝗕𝗣𝗖𝗢 𝗜𝗡𝗡𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡 𝗔𝗪𝗔𝗥𝗗 The Virtual Delegate a six-part digital event series which was powered by ICC Belfast and hosted by international keynote speaker David Meade won an Innovation Award as part of the annual Association of British Professional Conference Organisers (ABPCO) Excellence Awards in 2021.
