L'hôtel Fontana est situé dans le centre-ville de Buzet, la ville des truffes, juste en dessous de la très vieille noix de la vieille ville médiévale, sur la place Fontana. On pense que l'ancien hôtel Albergo alla Fontana a été construit il y a longtemps, en 1838, alors que même la célèbre ville d'Opatija ne possédait pas son propre hôtel. L'actuel hôtel Fontana a été construit sur les fondations du plus ancien hôtel d'Istrie en 1981. Depuis fin 2008, l'hôtel appartient à la société Vilstroj d.o.o., de Buzet. L'hôtel Fontana propose des chambres simples, doubles et des appartements parmi lesquels choisir.
