Be at the centre of everything. The Calgary TELUS Convention Centre has 122,000 sq. ft. of flexible space with a 20,000-sq.-ft. ballroom plus five pre-function areas. Part of the vibrant Stephen Avenue pedestrian mall, it’s just steps from some of Calgary’s finest restaurants and part of one of North America’s most centralized business and entertainment districts. The CTCC connects to three leading hotels (the Fairmont Palliser Calgary, the Calgary Marriott Downtown Hotel and the Hyatt Regency Calgary) and is close to dozens more.

Founded some 50 years ago by oilman Eric Harvie, the Glenbow Museum is located next to the Calgary TELUS Convention Centre in downtown Calgary. One of the largest museums in Canada, the Glenbow includes a museum, art gallery, library and archives and has more than one million artifacts and some 28,000 works of art in its vast collections. Many of those pieces are linked to the people and history of Western Canada. The museum hosts receptions from 50 to 600 people.

TELUS Spark, Calgary’s science centre, is on a 15-acre site just north of the Calgary Zoo and minutes from the downtown core. Opened in October 2011, it is Canada’s first new science centre in more than 25 years. Many of its buildings, artifacts and furnishings have been collected, assembled and preserved to reflect life in western Canada at the turn of the 20th century. Behind the brick facade of Gasoline Alley is a modern building with a variety of meeting spaces, including the Grand Hall with buffet, banquet and reception capacity for up to 1,000.
