Abernethy Barcaple is comfortable Victorian house located in 20 acres of private wooded grounds. Right between the wild hills and moorland of Galloway Forest Park and the rugged Solway coast, Abernethy Barcaple is a perfect base to explore Galloway, one of Scotland’s hidden gems. The centre itself offers comfortable accommodation and great facilities, and the Centre is ideally located to offer a great range of exciting activities. The 7 Stanes bike areas of Kirroughtree, Dalbeattie, Ae and Mabie are within easy reach of the Centre. The Centre offers comfortable bunk-bedded accommodation for 59 people in a range of different room sizes – we also have some en-suite rooms available. Abernethy Barcaple is also able to offer Meeting room for conferences and social events.
