Le grand dirigeant, le président MAO, a un jour laissé le verset suivant : « Lorsque vous êtes dans le froid de l'automne, en regardant vers le nord de la rivière Xiangjiang, à la tête de l'île Orange, vous verrez toutes les montagnes en rouge, des couches de forêt teintées » Situé dans le district de Yuelu, le Holiday Inn Express Changsha Shifu se trouve également à proximité du parc familial Wang Fujing, du centre culturel et artistique international du lac Meixi, du parc Xihu et du gouvernement de la ville de Changsha.
