Le projet « Zone des caractéristiques personnalisées folkloriques des grottes de Hongya » est l'un des « huit projets populaires » du gouvernement municipal de Chongqing en 2005, avec une superficie totale de 46 000 mètres carrés, et est le « projet paysager clé de Chongqing » et le « projet touristique clé AAA ».
