Located in the delightful frame of the Valle Intelvi, between the two lakes, Como and Lugano, Albergo La Torre offers a quiet stay. Its building – dating back to the end of the 19th century – has been recently restored with care for the detail. Special care was taken to make the environment cosy: from the restaurant with its original late-19th-century fire place, to the refined and warm atmosphere of the café, to the restaurant and café-dedicated porch opening into the garden, with its secular trees and the new swimming-pool with solarium, which create a happy corner for your diversion and relaxation. The strategic hotel location in Val d’Intelvi allows to quickly reach the two lakes, Switzerland, Milan and the Brianza area, so that our guests can rely on a wide range of leisure activities ranging from cultural tourism to shopping, from naturalistic trips to all kinds of water and mountain sports.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
