Our centrally located, picturesque nineteenth century building offers many modern amenities, stylish accommodations, bar and contemporary conference facilities for business travellers. Sitting snugly in the heart of Trieste, the Hotel Roma provides the perfect location from which to explore this fascinating city and the surrounding area, from the Adriatic Sea to neighbouring Slovenia. Close to the main train station and on the edge of the 18th century Borgo Teresiano, the hotel is centrally positioned between the transport hub and the commercial and historic quarter of the city.

Strazzanti was created by the 3 Strazzanti sisters with our youngest sister & professional Chef Emilia leading the experiences directly in Sicily. We continue the story and memories of our grandparents who taught us everything about our Sicilian and Neapolitan heritage. Growing up we understood our Italian heritage through them as people, their stories and by sharing, eating and cooking the dishes that they grew up with from their homeland and using the ingredients that our relatives would send to us in England from Sicily & Naples in small parcels. When our grandparents left us, it reinforced as a family that what they taught and shared with us is a huge part of our cultural identity, and we could not risk that heritage disappearing. Together as a family and working with other Sicilian families our passion is to give back to the land and work with like-minded young entrepreneurs, landowners and farmers in Sicily to keep this heritage and Sicilian traditions, which we all lovingly grew up with, alive.
